For more than 20 years, Joel Makower has been a well-respected voice
on business, the environment, and the bottom line. As a writer, speaker,
and strategist on corporate environmental practices, clean technology,
and green marketing, he has helped a wide range of companies align environmental
responsibility with business success.
Tyler
Elm
Tyler Elm was most recently Senior Director, Competitive Strategy and
Business Sustainability for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and in this capacity
directed the development, implementation, and management of the competitive
business strategy that derives economic benefits for the Company from
improved environmental and social outcomes. Prior to Wal-Mart he developed
and implemented Home Depot's global environmental strategy and programs.

Marc Alt is president and creative director of Marc Alt + Partners, a design and brand strategy firm specializing in environmental strategy, innovation and sustainability. Marc works with select companies in a wide range of industries on developing green strategy and communications.
He is also involved with a number of initiatives that are helping designers and companies come together to accelerate understanding of sustainable design principles. Marc serves on the advisory board and is Vice President of the The Designers Accord and is founding co-chair of the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design. Marc previously served on the board of the NY Chapter of AIGA, The Professional Association for Design.
Lisa Wellman
Lisa Wellman is CEO of SustainCommWorld. Lisa’s 25-year career in technology and marketing includes positions from systems development to business development and marketing to executive management. She has held executive level positions in Fortune 100 companies, headed venture-funded entrepreneurial initiatives and provided strategic business and marketing consultation for major U.S. corporations.
Lisa headed the worldwide Publishing, Entertainment and New Media markets for Apple, was CEO of an HP-dot com, and was recently turnaround President of a Seattle-based advertising agency. She has served on advisory boards for Cal Poly Graphic Communication Department and the American Film Institute. She is current chair of a micro-lending organization, Washington CASH and on the Washington state Community Economic Revitalization Board.
